Heretaunga
Heretaunga takes it name from a Hawkes Bay district that early European settlers in the Hutt Valley used to name the nearby Hutt River. It is directly next to Silverstream.
Heretaunga is reknowned for its location and boasts some of Upper Hutt’s most prestigious houses particularly around the Royal Wellington Golf Club. Properties that come up for sale along “The Golden Mile” do not last long.
Sports facilities include the Royal Wellington Golf Club which was founded in 1895 and is one of New Zealand’s most beautiful and historic golf courses. The course is one of the best tests of golf in New Zealand.
